Help celebrate Battleship North Carolina’s “Berth Day,” as we mark the 65th anniversary of the Battleship’s arrival in Wilmington. Performing the Saturday, October 3 concert will be the Wilmington Virtuosi Brass, a full British-style Brass Band featuring some of the best players in North Carolina. In April, the band was awarded second place in their division at the 2026 North American Brass Band Association Championships. The 2-hour performance will begin at 7 p.m. on the Battleship’s fantail.
A Musical Salute to the Battleship is open to the public. Only 400 tickets will be available for this event and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. This event is free for Friends members (2 free tickets per household) and $10 for non-members.
